How to Measure Your Dog for a Quick Fit Harness

How do I measure properly? - If your dog's harness does not fit we will ask you to measure his/her chest to make sure that your replacement fits properly. Measuring is easy and we only need one measurement.

Many harnesses require you to measure in 2 or more places, but with ours you only need the measurement around your dog's chest, just behind the legs and all the way around their body.

How to Put on the Quick Fit Harness

How to put it on your dog - Fitting the harness for the first time is easy. See the short video below for an easy demonstration and you'll have it on in no time.

I have it on, now what? - We recommend you test out the harness indoors or in a gates/fenced area. Some dogs may try to "escape" from the harness (most dogs do not try to escape, but some will) so we recommend testing it out in a safe area just in case your dog is an "escape artist" and tries to get loose.

How long should I leave it on? - We recommend that the harness is only used for taking walks with your dog. Your dog may get the idea to chew the harness if it's left on all the time, so for the life of the harness it's best to only put it on when in use.

Can I tie my dog up with the harness? - We do not recommend using the harness to tie or chain your dog up to a fixed object. The harness was designed to go on and off easily and quickly and may not be secure enough for a dog to be tied up for hours with.

It doesn't fit, what do I do? - If for any reason your new harness does not fit properly here are some tips for you.

1) Make sure you have adjusted the harness all the way out/in
2) Make sure the front strap has been adjusted so that it's secure (but not too tight!)

If you have adjusted the harness and it's not fitting properly you may need to exchange it for a different size (don't worry, it's easy to exchange it!)

What size should I get?

The harnesses can run large, so if it looks like 2 different sizes may work, we recommend going with the smaller size.
Will you help me pick a size?

Yes! If you are not sure what size will work best call or email us and we'll help you pick the best size.
Are these good for puppies?

The quick fit harness is good for ALL dogs. If you are buying for a puppy make sure to leave room for growth or call/email us for help picking the best size.
I've been disappointed in other harnesses. How will I know this one will work for me?

We hear from so many people that tell us this is the first harness they have been able to use after wasting money on many others. But if for ANY reason the Quick Fit harness doesn't work just send it back for a full refund!
What if I order the wrong size or it doesn't fit?

Exchanges are easy as pie! Send us an email or call us and we'll get a replacement out to you and send a prepaid label to send the wrong one back to us.
Is this harness OK to leave on 24 hours a day?

We recommend that you only use the harness for walks. Many dogs do not like wearing harnesses full-time and may chew/eat it if left on all day and night.
What is your "Beyond Thrilled" guarantee?

If you or your dog do not love the Quick Fit harness for ANY reason we want you to send it back to us within 365 days for a full refund. We'll pay for shipping and everything! (It must be in the same condition though)

Will my dog escape from it?

Most harnesses are not escape proof for a dog that is determined to escape. But most dogs love wearing this harness and do not try to escape in the first place. If your dog is an escape artist you may want to try our other style of harness that is a bit more secure.
Can the harness be washed?

Yes...you can wash it by hand but allow it to air dry for best results.
Will the straps stay adjusted?

Yes! Since the straps do not "touch" the dog in many places they do not come loose like other harnesses.
Will this harness work with other animals?

We have sold these to dog, pig and cat owners and have not heard that they didn't work for cats or pigs!
